**The Opportunity**

Organisational Effectiveness manages and responds to requests for information from a number of different stakeholders, including current and former clients, staff, and carers, and to support a range of legal and court processes such as subpoenas, civil claims and the National Redress Scheme.

**Key Responsibilities**

This role will locate, scan (if required), redact and prepare Berry Street records for release (when requested), using established processes, and harnessing the direction and assistance of Organisational Effectiveness teams as required.

Key objectives are to:

- Reduce waiting times for past clients accessing their records from the Heritage & Past Client Information Service.
- Enable Berry Street to increase responsiveness to urgent requests and meet all court-imposed deadlines to produce documents and records.
- Ensure that information releases, and the human stories they contain, are managed respectfully and with requisite care.
- Ensure that the privacy of all relevant parties is considered and protected, while still meeting the organisation’s legal obligations.

**About You**

You will have;
- Ability to collate, read, analyse and manage large volumes of information and documentation.
- Ability to effectively debrief and deploy self-care strategies, and work safely with traumatic material or content that is potentially distressing.
- An understanding of the legislative and regulatory environment relevant to information releases and privacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
