The Role


The Health Information Services (HIS) department is seeking three professional, enthusiastic and motivated team players to join our busy, dynamic department in a role based onsite at our Richmond campus.

Please note, you will be required to work onsite in this position, there is no capability to support working from home in this role.


Responsibilities include:

Scanning large volumes of paper-based patient medical records using the BOSSnet Digital Medical Record system.

Collecting medical records from the wards and departments throughout the hospital on daily ward rounds.

Responding to information requests in accordance with the department's release of information guidelines to ensure continuing care for patients.

Collecting, scanning and re-directing mail.

Performing general department duties as required.

To be successful you will have:
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on meeting the needs of internal and external stakeholders

Flexible in a changing work environment with an openness to changing processes and procedures

Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions whilst also able to work effectively and supportively in a team environment

Proven attention to detail and high care taken with tasks

Can effectively communicate using verbal, written and non-verbal communication to clearly convey information to other staff, patients, clinicians and additional stakeholders

Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet deadlines

Collaborative working style willing to work closely with various stakeholders to find solutions to workplace challenge
