**About the Role**

The Community Liaison Officer supports schools in building vibrant, tolerant and harmonious school communities. The Community Liaison Officer works to support school communities in the development of approaches to improve social, emotional, health and educational outcomes for students.

Gledswood Hills Public School, is a large and rapidly growing school, housed in a brand new, state-of-the art facility located in South Western Sydney. It is part of the St Andrews Network of schools for the Department of Education. 1050 students are enrolled at Gledswood Hills Public School, where students from a Language Background Other Than English (LBOTE) make up 55% of the school population and 3% of students identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. Continual monitoring of student performance data determines areas of need and success at class and school level. The school has a strong focus on high quality teaching and learning.
