**About us**

Your Community Health is a progressive, high quality, independent community health service. It provides a wide range of community-based health and social support services including primary care, allied health, oral health, mental health, harm reduction, social support and health promotion services. Our three comprehensive health centres are located in Darebin, but we are here for everyone in the diverse communities across Melbourne. We work in partnership with our communities and other services using a combination of outreach, home-based and centre-based activities and co-located services.

**About the role**

Your Community Health is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Allied Health Assistant to support YourCH's Physiotherapy programs with individual clients in clinic and at home. The role will involve undertaking administrative tasks, planning and delivering exercise groups, and assisting clients to transition into community-based exercise groups.

This part time, fixed term position (22.8 hrs per week until 30/6/23) reporting to the Physiotherapy Coordinator.

**_ Your passion and commitment will see you:_**
- Support YourCH clients to complete their Physiotherapy programs
- Assist in the planning, organising and implementation of physiotherapy group programs
- Monitor physiotherapy supplies and coordinate orders
- Undertake admin duties such as contacting clients, scheduling appointments, and managing the group program waiting list
- Actively contribute to the Physiotherapy team and wider Allied Health program

**_ To succeed in this role you will have:_**
- Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
- Experience working as an Allied Health Assistant in a community setting
- Experience planning, organising and delivering exercise groups
- Experience working with a range of clients including older people, people with disabilities and ethnically diverse populations
- Excellent IT and communication skills
- Current Victorian driver's licence
