Your Community Health provides a comprehensive range of medical, dental and allied health services and support programs to anyone, through a combination of outreach, client-based and centre-based activities.

Our purpose is to enable health, wellbeing and dignity for all people in northern Melbourne by providing responsive and accessible services.

We provide priority access to those most at risk of health inequalities and those that may face barriers to accessing traditional health services.


About the role


Your Community Health is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Oral Health Manager to join the Primary Care Directorate on a full time, fixed term basis (Maternity Leave Replacement) to July 2024.


Reporting to Director Primary Care and supported by a dedicated and fun multidisciplinary team, the Oral Health Manager is responsible for leading the delivery and growth of clinical, non-clinical and laboratory Oral Health services to the community.

This exciting and dynamic role will see you provide leadership to the various Oral Health program offerings including:

  • Public dental services (15 chairs, 3 sites)
  • Smile Squad (4 vans, visiting 86 school campuses annually)
  • Private Dental Services
  • Digital Dental Laboratory
  • Outreach services
  • Your passion and commitment will see you:_
  • Provide management and leadership to Senior Oral Health Services staff, Practitioners and the Team.
  • Lead programlevel business development and service improvement initiatives
  • Lead and manage the provision of Oral Health Services that are safe, high quality and focused on client care.
  • To succeed in this role you will have:_

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant clinical area of practice and/or demonstrated senior leadership experience in managing the delivery of highquality health services
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Check
  • Current Drivers Licence

Preferred:

  • Tertiary qualification eligible for registration as a dental practitioner with AHPRA Dental Board of Australia
  • Post graduate qualifications in Management, Health Leadership or Public Health
