What does the job look like?
As a PM Transport Allocator, you will play a crucial role in our Intermodal team based in West Melbourne, ensuring that deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner. With your exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask you will support our team by allocating, route planning, and dispatching deliveries. This role is on the PM Shift working 9:00pm to 6:00am pm Monday to Friday with any overtime as required. Key areas:
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions and building positive relationships
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules and compliance
- Maintaining regular contact with our customer to keep them updated and well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or changes that will impact them
- Monitoring service schedules for fleet & completing accurate handovers for AM shift team each day
- Completing Yard checks and meeting Safety KPI's
