**You’ll be**
- **leading a small team and providing expert support and advice to the highest levels of government in NSW to drive effective NSW Cabinet processes and decision-making; and**:

- **making an impact by contributing to critical whole of government projects, ensuring operational delivery, tackling a wicked policy or project problem, and.**

This is a temporary role, Clerk grade 11/12 (up to July 2025), based in Sydney CBD within the Cabinet team with the possibility of extension.

**About the role.**:
The Cabinet team has an opportunity for a motivated professional to join the team on a temporary basis, until July 2025 (with the possibility of extension).

The** Associate Director, Cabinet**, leads a team, oversees and manages the delivery of Cabinet and Committee operations, policy, systems and project work, and consultation and engagement with internal and external stakeholders. The **Associate Director, Cabinet** provides well researched and high-level advice on a range of matters to the Premier, Ministers, the Secretary and Senior Executives.

- You’re adaptable, resilient, and agile and can maintain a high level of professionalism when communicating with team members and other stakeholders.
- You’re experienced in leading and developing staff and supporting capability, process and systems optimisation and uplift.
- You’re experienced in designing and delivering policy and projects including the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing timeframes, set priorities, meet deadlines and work as part of a small team.
- You’re highly organized and have an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- You are solutions focused, have a history of working effectively and collaboratively in a high-volume and unpredictable work environment with strict deadlines and competing demands and priorities.
- You’re natural collaborator and strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing timeframes.

**Salary**: Clerk Grade 11/12. Package includes base salary ($139,787 - $161,663) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
