**About the Role**

The Associate Director Ministerial and Parliamentary Services is responsible for leading and managing the efficient and effective delivery of the Destination NSW Ministerial and Parliamentary Services function. The role manages a small team of staff to develop and deliver a comprehensive suite of Ministerial and Parliamentary Services to support the achievement of the Government’s visitor economy objectives.

This is a Clerk Grade 11/12 position with a base salary commencing at $139,787 plus superannuation.

**Essential Requirement**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience
- Willingness and ability to work out of hours and be available on call, as required

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Extensive experience and knowledge of the machinery of government including parliamentary and Cabinet protocols and processes and the provision of services to ministerial offices
- Significant experience and demonstrated skills in providing high-quality strategic advice and written materials - with exceptional attention to detail - including but not limited to briefing notes, correspondence, and speeches in a high-volume and fast-paced professional environment
- Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives
- Excellent issues and time management skills with the capacity to manage complex and time-sensitive issues
