**Role**:
Associate Brand Manager, Ocular Surface (Eye Care)

**Summary of job description**:
Work with Associate Business Unit Manager, Ocular Surface (Eye Care) to support the development and execution of the annual marketing plan, co-ordinate the successful implementation of tactics that support growth within the retail (artificial tears) and established brand markets.

**Core Job Responsibilities**:

- Achieve agreed sales targets for Ocular Surface business unit
- Contribute to and support brand plan development and strategy implementation
- Lead promotional material development and messaging to support Key Account Manager(s) and trade advertising
- Lead artwork development to support banner group promotional activities
- Support promotional focus and efforts of the contract pharmacy field force
- Work collaboratively with Glaucoma and Retina Brand and National Sales Manager(s) for Ophthalmology sales team engagement and positioning of ocular surface brands
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitors, product ranges and promotional activities
- Effectively analyse customer insights, brand performance, market trends, & competitive response to inform strategic plan
- Work with logistics management to ensure appropriate supply of all products in the portfolio
- Management of promotional budget and project spend
- Coordinate the communication of product related information within the organization
- Support and provide insights for monthly performance reporting
- Participate in idea generation and development of cycle meeting agendas and activities
- Manage external third party vendors and meet all related internal procurement and compliance requirements
- Ensure all business activities comply with the relevant Acts, legal demands, including Medicines Australia, MTAA, consumer advertising codes and ethical standards.

**Education/Experience Required**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales/marketing/project management/administration role, with a focus in healthcare or pharmaceuticals
- Experience within consumer health markets, desirable, but not essential
- Exposure or experience in trade marketing, desirable, but not essential
- Exposure or experience in ophthalmology or eye care therapeutic areas, desirable, but not essential

- Ability to generate insights from data
- Excellent time management skills and ability to priortise tasks/ projects

- Excellent knowledge of computer based programs including excel and PowerPoint
