**A bit about the role**
This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the building information which can inform key decision making across the organisation and ultimately benefit our community.

Using your exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills, you will work with people across our business to gather, analyse, document and report on a variety of information. Enabling risk and audit management, you will be supporting the Wyndham City ‘Towards 2040’ vision through facilitating reviews and implementing continuous improvements across a range of key governance functions.

**What you’ll deliver**
- Implement work programs to enable business performance and continuous improvement in the area of risk and compliance.
- Support internal audit activity, acting as audit liaison between the internal auditor and management, facilitating delivery of the audit plan, and monitoring associated actions.
- Assist in the management of project risk, contributing to the successful delivery of our complex capital works program, engaging project teams in the review of risk information.
- Driving continuous improvement of key enterprise risk information, partnering with management to explore, assess and document risk and control information.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders across a range of activity to assure effective corporate governance structures, providing support and advice.
- Promote a good risk culture, delivering coaching, training and workshops to the organisation.

**What you’ll bring**
- Advanced stakeholder management skills, being able to build relationships, manage expectations, influence and educate our organisation.
- Excellent attention to detail, coupled with the analytical skills to conduct evidence-based investigations and produce positive outcomes to the organisation.
- Exceptional writing skills, able to gather and synthesise information from a variety of sources to generate executive reporting
- Experience in working in a governance role; risk, compliance, fraud and corruption control, audit or related disciplines.
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in risk or audit or relevant specialist certification, desirable.
- A positive, curious and flexible mind.
