**About the Branch**:
The Corporate Branch is responsible for delivering enabling services that support the effective and efficient operation of the agency and facilitates the agency’s compliance with legislation, policies and guidelines as a non-corporate Commonwealth entity.

The branch complements the scheme-focus of other agency divisions by providing digital services for internal and client-facing systems and facilitating strategic communications and client engagement through the agency’s website and contact centre. In addition, the Branch supports efficient resource management and corporate accountability through functions such as financial management, performance reporting, parliamentary services, procurement, risk management and assurance, facilities management and human resource management

**About the Section**:
The Human Resources function is to support the agency to achieve its objectives and purpose. It does this by providing business focussed people advice and support, with the goal of ensuring the agency will attract, retain and develop a highly skilled, motivated, and engaged workforce. We strive to continuously improve the quality of our services and ensure our workplace is one that respects and meets the needs of our staff and supports our corporate goals.

The Facilities function manages property and facilities in accordance with government and industry guidelines to support the agency. The Security function manages protective security as directed in the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) to ensure the agency physical and personnel security requirements.

**Role responsibilities and duties**:
As the HR Officer - WHS, Wellbeing and Capability, you will:

- Provide administrative support to agency work health and safety (WHS) activities such as monthly incident reporting; credit card reconciliation; and updating forms, policies and procedures.
- Manage the administration of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that includes actioning registrations and separations; updating communication materials; and coordinating flu vaccinations.
- Undertake the administrative function for the agency learning and development activities such as participant enrolments; communications; and maintenance of content in the agency’s Learning Management System (LMS), Learnhub.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development activities.
- Perform activities as a Corporate Citizen Coordinator - organise meetings across special interest groups; coordinate annual inspections; and manage accreditations and payment of allowances.
- Provide information to team members, agency staff and diversity networks on Diversity and Inclusion and organise the related activities.
- Monitor the shared team mailboxes and respond to queries in a timely manner or escalate to other members.
- Develop and maintain working relationships internally.
- Provide support to the Senior HR Advisor - WHS, Wellbeing and Capability and undertake additional tasks and project work as required.

**Qualifications/experience**:
**Essential**:

- Effective time management and coordination skills to manage multiple tasks within changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- An understanding of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and a passion for making a positive impact.
- Well-developed interpersonal, liaison and representational skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships.

**Desirable**:

- Qualifications in Human Resources or Training and Assessment would be highly regarded but are not essential.
- Experience using a Learning Management System such as Learnhub is highly desirable.
