**About The Team **UberEats has been a market leader in Online Food Delivery for the past five years. **About the role**
Tens of thousands of Australians and Kiwis choose to deliver and earn with Uber every day. The Delivery People Operations team is committed to making UberEats the best platform for Earners, by creating a safe, fair, worthwhile and magical experience now and into the future.
As the Strategy & Operations Lead, Supply Management within the Delivery People Operations team, you will be responsible for leading the team that sets the access standards and grows the delivery people supply base to meet the evolving needs of the UberEats marketplace in Australia and New Zealand. This role directly impacts several top priorities of the UberEats business, including delivering a magical consumer experience, ensuring the safety of delivery people (especially those on two wheels), and achieving the company-wide zero-emissions goal by 2040.
This is a critical, exciting role that calls for someone with deep empathy and optimism for delivery people, a high level of data acumen, an ability to mobilize a cross-functional organization through strong leadership, and a strategic mindset to ensure the team is working on the biggest problems/opportunities.
**Your Impact in Role**
- Lead the Supply Management Operations team, including setting strategy, roadmap, KPIs, and remit.
- Be responsible for (1) growing the delivery people base and ensuring a balanced marketplace by providing the right level of supply (2) setting and implementing appropriate standards for each vehicle type to achieve short and long-term business goals, e.g., zero-emission 3) ensuring a seamless delivery people onboarding experience
- Collaborate with a highly cross-functional stakeholder group to deliver your vision and plan, including global product and engineering teams and local marketplace, safety, policy, comms, legal, marketing, and other operations teams.
- Provide exceptional leadership for your team, inspiring and developing a team of high-performing strategy and operations managers.
**The Experience You'll Bring**
- High-performing professional experience in startup, strategy, operations, or a variety of other roles with demonstrated work in customer strategy
- Experience in team management, including strong people management skills, setting a strategy and roadmap, defining KPIs, and setting targets
- Strong strategic focus and vision - Choose which projects the team should prioritize, gain leadership buy-in and enable the team to reach goals quickly. Able to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment, and define team focus with mínimal direction
- Exceptional analytical acumen and ability to use data to drive key business decisions
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate with customers with clarity and empathy
