**About the Role**
The People and Culture (P&C) Advisor plays a crucial role in supporting senior leaders and the People and Culture function within the Bank of Queensland Group. With a focus on providing coaching and advice to senior leaders and partnering with the P&C Business Partners and Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to execute strategic people plans and cyclical activities, this position is a broad generalist role and will suit someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for delivering an excellent customer experience and enjoys working in a fast paced dynamic environment.

Responsibilities of the Advisor P&C role include:

- Provide people advice, support and coaching to senior BOQ Leaders in a generalist P&C capacity
- Coach, advise and support senior leaders in relation to performance management and employee relations advice
- Manage non
- complex performance and conduct matters with leaders and partner with Employee Relations to support more complex matters
- Be a point of escalation for queries from other P&C teams such as People Operations
- Partner with P&C BPs and Centres of Excellence (COE) on identified projects relating to the execution of Divisional People Plans and/or cyclical activities such as remuneration review, talent review and engagement surveys
- Partner with COEs and BPs to address systemic issues and simplify “system” design with a clear customer focus as the guide
- Gather and present data and insights to P&C BP’s to assist in the management of their business area including system accuracy and data integrity activities.

To be successful in the P&C Advisor, we are looking for talented people who:

- Enjoy working as part of a cohesive team and collaborating with others
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to work through challenging scenarios with stakeholders
- Have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Are able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities whilst completing work accurately and on time
- Have experience in a similar role providing generalist HR advice in a professional setting including ER advice such as industrial instrument interpretation, implementing performance improvement plans (PIP’s) and knowing when to escalate
- Are able to interpret data to recognise trends and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Have relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable)
