We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time
- **People and Culture Advisor** to work in our office in Capalaba, on the Redlands Coast. Join our team of Journey Makers at Transdev Queensland and make a real difference to improving the lives of people travelling on our buses within Brisbane. Transdev Queensland provides passenger bus and school services within the Redland City region with the vision of “Connecting Communities”.

**The Opportunity**
- The People and Culture Advisor will play a key role in the success of Transdev Queensland by providing operational advice and support on general human resources matters as well as managing the recruitment and selection process end-to-end, alongside the People and Culture Manager. This role will also play an integral role in assisting the delivery of People and Culture projects and programs onsite, including impending enterprise agreement negotiations.

**Your day might include**:

- Providing day-to-day generalist Human Resources (HR) advice and support to managers
- Contributing to the cyclical reporting requirements for key stakeholders
- Managing the recruitment and selection process end-to-end, alongside the People and Culture Manager
- Provide on-boarding support to hiring managers ensuring a best practice employee experience for new starters
- Proactively supporting and coordinating the delivery of key projects and programs particularly those aligned to the company’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy
- Supporting the People and Culture Manager and key stakeholders with administration involved with the negotiation of enterprise agreements
- Assist in the delivery of People and Culture initiatives as part of the Transdev Queensland Business Plan

**Your talent**:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a Human Resources role or similar role in a medium sized Transport company
- Sound knowledge of contemporary Human Resources practices and relevant legislation
- Experience in a blue-collar unionised environment
- Exceptional time management, planning and organisational skills
- Stakeholder focused attitude, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong focus on delivering outcomes
- High attention to detail
- Ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Commercial focus
- Continuous improvement and basic project management skills
