As the Knowledge & Capability Lead for the Know Our Customers Centre of Expertise (COE), you will lead the training and development framework, hindsight testing and escalation and help desk functions of the COE.

**The role is critical to making this happen and will**:
Work in partnership with CSO central capability team to build and implement KYC onboarding and ongoing development program, certification and career pathways across AU and BGL utilising CoE SMEs and facilitators

Objective monitoring and review of compliance with regulatory and internal policy supporting the CoE to build and improve their KYC knowledge and capability and to effectively implement changes to policy, process and procedure

Lead internal CoE escalation process and engage with Financial Crime advisory partners as required on matters of policy interpretation and improvement opportunities; and lead the build and implementation of sustainable knowledge management governance, processes and tools

Build and implement KYC AR&C helpdesk that provides specialist support and guidance to distribution partners executing KYC on more complex matters; and work in partnership with the COE LT to implement the organisational design to continually improve how we work to optimise customer experience

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Australia Retail & Commercial and Financial Crime, influencing policy and process changes; and embed a culture that enables a continuous improvement, facilitating an adaptive and risk focused culture that promotes knowledge, learning and growth

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Senior manager level acumen with proven experience developing and implementing learning and capability programs that focus on AML/CTF, escalation, help desk and other regulatory requirements in a dynamic environment

Disciplined learning and capability uplift initiatives delivery, effectively managing timeframes and risk

Excellent communication and problem solving skills, with the ability to use insights to influence key decisions

Ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders and influence across teams to improve customer outcomes

Resilient and empathetic leader, known for integrity and with the gravitas to influence outcomes

Leadership style that is known for strong employee engagement amidst a challenging environment
