**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The GIS Analyst will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of AMSA’s 24/7 GIS environment and geospatial data assets to ensure the organisation has the IT platforms and data necessary to achieve its goals and objectives.

You will be responsible for:

- Providing operational GIS support for AMSA’s business areas including mission critical business functions within the Response Division, using your analysis, mapping, and visualisation skills
- Assisting the Enterprise GIS Administrator to maintain AMSA’s spatial assets including, enterprise geospatial database, online GIS servers and published spatial products
- Support System administration and operation of the GIS
- Providing geospatial analytic services as requested by AMSA business units and external clients
- Producing and supplying material for publication, demonstrations, displays and legal briefings
- Provide support for AMSAs Digital Image Media system

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:

- Advanced knowledge of, and current experience in, the use of GIS systems.
- Experience in ESRI’s ArcGIS Pro, Server, Portal, and Online platforms
- Working knowledge of spatial database management, spatial system administration and project management
- Ability to self-motivate and provide timely advice and support to the team and other Divisions.
- Ability to develop and maintain system operating procedures
