Clinical and Technical Facilities Assistant

Contribute to the training of our future health professionals by providing clinical and technical facilities support for medical, allied health and other teaching activities.
Clinical and Technical Facilities Assistant x 2- Salary Package: Base salary HEW Level 4 pro-rata from $76,654 to $82,617 plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading- Appointment Type: 2 x part-time roles, appointment hours negotiable between (0.6 FTE to 0.8 FTE), continuing- Macquarie University (Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde)
The Role
This role will liaise with clinical and other teaching staff in the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences to prepare equipment, materials and rooms for clinical and other teaching activities, maintain stock levels of consumables and support events. Additionally, the role will provide support for bespoke AV systems in a select number of Faculty spaces and perform routine maintenance of specialty clinical equipment such as manikins and part task trainers, escalating identified issues. Due to the timings of some events and teaching activities, this role may be required to work outside of standard operating hours.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated knowledge of clinical simulation equipment and will be technologically savvy. You have an ability to prioritise and action tasks in a timely manner, work purposefully while under competing deadlines and can communicate effectively with a variety of individuals.
