Our Eight Mile Plains team are seeking an Administration Officer** **to join their highly functioning Superstar Admin Team We are going through an exciting period of growth here at Carers Queensland and it's a perfect time to join us on our mission to make lives better for those with disabilities and their families.

This role will provide reception, administrative and scheduling support to the NDIS Local Area Coordination (LAC) Partner in the Community program team. You will provide information and support to participants, their families, and carers, operating as their first point of contact with the organisation.

We are seeking our new addition to the team aka our future star performer with the following skills: extremely high attention to detail, the ability to triage calls and work in a fast-paced environment whilst dealing with competing priorities, experience in dealing with the community, with the ability to pivot and provide exceptional support to the teams and bringing your superstar Excel skills to front of the queue - Sounds good right?

**What else can we tell you**:
Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining appropriate administrative records utilising our databases.
- Using the NDIA IT System to record appointments, notes, and actions to ensure the development and maintenance of accurate data.
- Scheduling participant contact and interviews.
- Providing general information in response to participant enquiries and refer to appropriate internal stakeholders when required.

**Do you have?**:

- Demonstrated experience providing administrative & team support in a fast-paced environment? e.g. medical reception, call centres, child services, etc?
- High level of communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to build rapport and adapt skills according to the audience or target group involved?
- The skills & ability to triage and prioritise work tasks?
- Experience/knowledge at entering information into databases with a high level of accuracy and detail whilst adhering to Government reporting requirements?
