About the role
A part time contract is now available in the Patient Revenue Services department. Based on-site at Box hill hospital.
The role will be responsible for performing cashier duties on-site at the Peter James Centre, as well as Private patient liaison and Inpatient claims.
About you
**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Revenue services / Finance experience in the health industry with a clear understanding of the basics of accounting
Demonstrated billing experience in a similar role ideally in a hospital/healthcare/Aged care setting
Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
Proven understanding of Private health fund claiming process, inclusive of Medicare, Private health funds, TAC and Workers Compensation
High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in providing excellent customer service, either in person or phone based.
Demonstrated ability to manage workflow to deadlines and prioritise tasks
