As a global organisation of 7,000 employees, our client specialises in providing blasting services and production of explosive products to mining and engineering industries across the globe.

With Australian offices based in Perth and Brisbane, the HR team resides in the Brisbane CBD office and is seeking an additional HR Advisor to join them on a growth journey

The Australian workforce currently consists of approximately 250 blue and white collar employees with several large projects on the horizon which will entail nationwide growth over the following 12 months and into the future.

**Your Role**

Reporting to a fantastic HR leader and working alongside another HR Advisor and an HR Coordinator, this is a broad role encompassing lots of variety across operational generalist HR activities, including:

- Providing advice and managing employee relations and disciplinary matters, performance management and grievances;
- Project managing HR projects and rolling out HR communications and initiatives, including employee benefits, talent mapping, succession planning, performance management, recognition and engagement surveys;
- Providing coaching and advice as well as developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation;
- Maintaining the HRIS - ConnX - and undertaking various HR reporting;
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in providing efficient and streamlined HR support and advice.

This is a diverse operational role where you will enjoy autonomy in undertaking your day-to-day whilst also collaborating closely with your manager and HR team on various HR initiatives.

**About You**

You will be an experienced HR Advisor able to hit the ground running with all areas of operational HR and be comfortable running investigations and performance management processes.

Tertiary qualified in HR, Business or another related discipline, you will be looking for an opportunity where you can truly contribute your value to a business as an HR professional and not be afraid to challenge the status quo.

Some travel may be required if conducting onsite ER/performance management processes to various locations around Australia and this role will require a full security clearance, police check and pre-employment medical.

You will be required to demonstrate proof of permanent working rights in Australia to be considered for this opportunity.
