Our team is a **supportive, multidisciplinary team** with a broad range of **early childhood teachers and educators, social workers, child health nurses, midwives and allied health** qualified professionals committed to high quality work providing wrap around early intervention services.

**Duties**
- Develop and facilitate child-centred, culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate programs that meet the needs, interests and strengths of children (0-8) and families
- Facilitate our play programs, specialist groups, offer targeted family support and deliver parenting programs
- Partnering with families, you will undertake assessments, identify strengths, increase capacity for resilience and promote positive family relationships
- Empower families to make lasting change, build upon their resilience to respond to life’s challenges and make referrals to appropriate networks

**Skills and experience**

As a qualified Social Worker, Early Childhood Education, or Human Services professional, you will have:

- A clear understanding of child development and psychosocial factors which impact on a person’s ability to parent successfully
- A commitment to play based approaches with a focus on building parent-child relationships to improve the long-term outcomes for children
- Experience identifying and addressing child protection concerns using a holistic and strengths based approach
- Excellent customer service with particular experience in engagement and rapport building over the phone.
- Capacity to engage with people from all walks of life including the local Aboriginal community and people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds
- High level of professional accountability and integrity and a passion for supporting children and families to live their best life
