Would you like to work with teachers and educators to implement child safety programs in schools and education and care services (ECS)?

Do you have a strong understanding of child protection frameworks, best practices and current research and findings?

If so, you may be interested in joining the Anglican Schools Commission’s Child Safety Program as a Child Safety Practitioner. The Anglican Schools Commission (ASC) is one of the three commissions within the Anglican Church Southern Queensland (ACSQ), working with 21 schools and 19 ECS across Southeast Queensland.

**What will you be doing to contribute to the ASC’s Child Safety Program**?
- **Engage with Schools and Early Education**: Work closely with schools and early education centres to provide guidance and support for the effective management of child protection matters. This may include risk management planning, child protection training and the management of a concern for the safety, rights, and protection of a child or young person.
- **Contribute to the development of training materials, policies and guidelines**: Review and develop child protection training modules and resources; policies, and guidelines tailored to the needs of teachers, educators and caregivers.
- **Offer Expert Advice**: Provide expert advice on child safety matters, including monitoring and evaluation of current practices.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
