About this position

Our team is looking for a Multi-Asset Solution Strategist for the Australia and New Zealand markets to support the delivery of T. Rowe Price’s full range of multi-asset capabilities to clients. This is a great opportunity for a professional with the experience, curiosity, and desire to take the lead in developing multi-asset investment solutions that leverage the expertise of the Multi-Asset, Fixed Income and Equity organizations. - Take part in deep dive discussions with our clients and our teams as an internal investment consultant and identify how T. Rowe Price can best meet their investment needs and objectives
- Develop investment views for Australian Multi Asset portfolios and act as the lead Portfolio Manager for Multi-Asset Portfolios when appropriate
- Represent the retirement expertise within T Rowe Price and expand our product offering to meet the evolving needs of retirees in Australia

In this role, your everyday internal and external activities will include:

- Interacting with internal distribution team in the areas of education and identifying multi-asset opportunities
- Designing and developing messaging strategies and materials relating to specific multi-asset solutions
- Delivering analyses and proposals to institutional and intermediary clients
- Collaborating with Multi-Asset, Fixed Income and Equity teams to develop and manage multi-asset solutions
- Support investment performance reviews and other servicing activities for Multi-Asset clients within your region.

**Responsibilities**:
Primary objectives of the role include the following: 1) consultative engagements with clients, including analytical studies, 2) design of custom mandates, including investment proposals, 3) portfolio management of Multi Asset portfolios, including generating and communicating investment views, 4) creating thought leadership and investment insights and 5) act the multi-asset local representative supporting the broader division.

In more details, these responsibilities include:

- Add value to our clients through insights, custom solutions and analysis that adapt the entire T Rowe Price investment capabilities to the client unique needs and objectives.
- Promote the investment capabilities of T. Rowe Price via a consultative, solutions-oriented approach. Support the gathering and retention of AUM for off-the-shelf as well as customized strategies by working closely with Multi-Asset, investment, distribution and other associates.
- Serve as a representative of the Multi-Asset Solutions team in meetings with institutional and intermediary investors, consultants, and internal colleagues. Develop a clear understanding of the needs and interests of local investors for investment solutions. Provide education to internal staff with a goal of improving awareness of T. Rowe Price’s multi-asset solutions capabilities.
- Develop investment views on asset classes relevant for local investors. Participate in the regional investment committees to develop tactical asset allocation views. Act as a portfolio manager on custom multi asset solutions.
- Contribute to the development of investment insights relevant to the local markets. Participate in research projects to enhance our multi asset processes as appropriate.
- Serve as an external contact for multi-asset mandates implemented for clients. Support the servicing of relationships via close interaction with a wide range of T. Rowe Price staff. Manage internal and external projects. Support the development of presentation/ communication/marketing materials, RFP content, etc. used in support of multi-asset solutions opportunities.
- Develop an expertise on retirement issues in Australia and how T. Rowe Price capabilities can best address the evolving needs of retirees. Build a network of internal and external experts to elevate the voice of T. Rowe Price in Australia as a retirement investment leader.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of investment solutions that encompass Multi-Asset, Fixed Income and Equity investment strategies. Attend investment meetings, read research reports, utilize information services, etc. to maintain knowledge base required to successfully represent the capabilities of T. Rowe Price and the strategic initiatives of Multi-Asset Solutions.
