At InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort we are looking for a **Food & Beverage Duty Manager** to join our team.

**What is the job?**

Under the general direction of the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee the smooth operation of the food & beverage operation outlets while ensuring we provide guests with food and beverage products and service in line with InterContinental standards, InterContinental Brand Service Behaviours and the IHG Winning Ways.

You will be responsible for driving the development of people, creating and maintaining unique guest experiences, executing on brand standards, and building awareness of the resort, its product offerings and brand in the local community.

**Your day to day -**
- Ensure smooth service of all outlets including delegating team where required.
- To ensure that all sales are properly recorded, following prescribed procedures for ordering, voiding or correcting items using the outlet point-of-sales system.
- Keep abreast of all modifications to accounting policies and procedures.
- Promote inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities
- Assist the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in regularly monitoring rosters to ensure all shifts are covered and make adjustments where necessary.
- Ensure all credit and financial transactions are handled in a secure manner.
- Assist in direct day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and establish performance expectations.
- Educate and train all team members in compliance with governmental regulations. Ensure colleagues are properly trained in quality and service standards and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members across the Food & Beverage operation in compliance with hotel’s or owner’s policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains exemplary deportment standards of behaviour, appearance and attitude as expected in an IHG Brand.
- Endeavour to maintain the high standards of the hotel with particular regard to the importance of IHG Loyalty Program members and other VIP’s and with reference to their health or safety.
- Adhere to licensing laws as per Responsible Service of Alcohol and house policies.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Secondary Education or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years restaurant management experience
- Friendly Persona
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
- Time management skills, delegation, a drive for results and strong employee engagement skills.
- Neat Personal Presentation
- Able to read and write basic English
- Ability to work flexible hours
- RSA is essential
