Your Opportunity
We have two (2) exciting opportunities available to join our Educational Delivery Support (EDS) team at two (2) of our campuses*:

- Eagle Farm campus - fixed term temporary from 16 December 2024 until 27 January 2026; and
- Bracken Ridge campus - fixed term temporary from 17 February 2025 until 30 May 2025.
- You may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.

**The Operational Supervisor, EDS is responsible for**:

- providing leadership and day to day supervision of employees and operational activities within the EDS function, ensuring that key performance indicators are achieved;
- building partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to establish a single point of contact for the management of operational matters related to the EDS function; and
- developing, maintaining and reviewing processes and procedures, incorporating feedback from a range of internal and external stakeholders and implementing best practice approaches.

This position reports to the Operational Manager, EDS and is directly responsible for the supervision of a team of EDS officers.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the success of cultural change within the organisation through promoting and modelling the established TAFE Queensland values of Working Together, Focussing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility, Showing Initiative, and Safety First.
- Coordinate and monitor the operational activities of the EDS team, including providing clear direction on the allocation of resources, prioritisation of tasks and compliance with approved processes in order to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved by the team.
- Work in collaboration with the Operational Manager, EDS to ensure the efficient and effective operation, and the management and development of, a high performing EDS team, including:

- building knowledge and capability within the team and across the broader EDS business unit;
- ensuring that human resource management issues are addressed in accordance with the appropriate procedures;
- contributing to the achievement of EDS commercial and business performance objectives and KPIs; and
- ensuring that contractual timeframes and obligations associated with EDS team contracts are met.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all applicable legislation, regulations, policies and guidelines to ensure that TAFE Queensland SkillsTech is compliant with statutory obligations including AVETMISS, pre-qualified supplier (PQS) and Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
- Work in partnership with a range of external stakeholders to identify and build business opportunities and efficiencies by managing the administrative aspects of interstate and commercial contracts, and establish a single point of contact for the management of operational matters including requests for information, and addressing issues and concerns.
- Engage collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify and develop effective EDS processes to ensure accuracy of information and compliance with statutory obligations, and regular review of quality system procedures, processes and documentation.
- Develop and maintain collaborative and mutually beneficial networks with a wide range of stakeholders, including within the Region and TAFE Queensland more broadly by actively representing the Regions interests in focus groups, networks, forums and associated activities to ensure EDS strategies are aligned to regional requirements.
- Generate and analyse business performance reports to inform strategic decision-making processes and individual performance review and development activities, and interrogate educational delivery support data to respond to ad-hoc requests for information.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through the timely and appropriate management of complaints, including those received from both internal and external stakeholders and escalated from members of the EDS team, and provide accurate information EDS leadership group to assist with preparation of correspondence.
