We are seeking a dynamic and experienced retail leader to join our team as a Floating Op Shop Manager in South Brisbane and Gold Coast.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our op shops and contribute to achieving sales targets, driving community donations, and supporting our mission of making a positive impact on animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the RSPCA Qld Op Shop team and brand, fostering a positive and supportive store atmosphere.
  • Work closely with the Op Shop Store Manager and Area Manager to support the goals and mission of the RSPCA Qld.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure a welcoming shopping experience.
  • Train and support volunteers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Drive sales to achieve set targets, utilizing effective merchandising and visual display techniques.
  • Oversee and review all goods for sale in the store, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Direct and monitor the daily register opening and closing procedures, maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain and periodically review the shop's pricing list, ensuring competitiveness and accuracy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Confident retail leadership experience, minimum 2 years in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of fashion and clothing brands, including current trends and market demand.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Sound computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proven ability to supervise and provide direction to a small team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
