**About the role**

The Workforce Strategy & Planning Lead manages and coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of complex strategies and projects to achieve specific outcomes; and supports the achievement of organisational objectives. The role develops effective processes, systems and tools that support prioritisation and implementation of strategic work across the business unit.

**Essential requirement**
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**About you**
- You will be collaborative, agile, and disciplined about delivering outcomes for all students of NSW
- You are excited by challenges and thrive working in an environment where you can problem solve for your clients and recommend innovative strategies that you know will make a difference
- You are a seasoned project management strategist with previous experience managing projects, conducting research, analysing and reviewing complex workforce strategies and policy issues
- You have a natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders both internal and external
- You are confident navigating multiple platforms as well as consulting in order to identify and design fit for purpose strategies that are responsive to the attainment of School Workforce objectives
