What’s the job?

Reporting to the Academic Planning Manager, the Academic Planning Coordinator will assist in supporting business planning and intelligence system initiatives throughout the student lifecycle of Higher Educational and Vocational programs across Academic Administration functions within Torrents Global Education (TGE).

This role involves collaborating with academic leaders, faculty members and other stakeholders to ensure academic quality best practices are implemented and monitored that promote student success and academic achievement.

Day-to-day accountabilities:
- Support business planning and intelligence systems that will provide insights that help the decision-making processes across faculty-wide academic administration operations, programs and services including the development & monitoring of data quality metrics- Support the Academic Planning Manager in the production of Business Intelligence reports and analysis of data and recommendations to meet business needs.- Produce timely Student Academic Progression reports and inform internal stakeholders of any discrepancies/errors uncovered.- Contribute to the production of Class and Exam timetables.- Maintain knowledge of all Course Architectures of courses delivered within the faculties.- Maintain company systems and databases to ensure information is accurate and compliant with company policies and external reporting requirements- Support the implementation of service improvement projects/initiatives and collecting data to analyse their effectiveness

This is a permanent position and can be located in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Brisbane with hybrid working arrangements at the nearest campus 2 days per week.

Who you are- A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, along with relevant work experience.- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40110 or TAE40116 desirable- Minimum 2 years' experience within the University or VET sector in administration- Quality & Compliance: An understanding of TEQSA regulatory compliance, interpretating legislation and policy and procedures- Highly developed project management skills that support the effective implementation of concurrent projects within an agile environment.- Foresight academic planning and forecasting.- Highly developed attention to detail to undertake high volumes of administrative processing efficiently and with a high level of accuracy.- Stakeholder relationship building - Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.- Critical Thinking and Decision-making - analysing information to make decision and improve organisational performance outcomes.- Business improvement solution based “mindset” - Managerial courage - Willingness to challenge the “status quo” to improve organisational performance outcomes
