The D-Team is recruiting for an A-grade Remote (Drone) Pilot wanting to push their career to the next level. Diospatial is one of Australia’s leading providers of drone surveys and inspections across the AEC sector, servicing government and tier 1 private industry clients throughout NSW, Victoria and Queensland.
The successful applicant will see themselves quickly become a core member of the operations team with broad responsibility across many aspects of the Diospatial drone program including the planning, preparation, and execution of for a range of survey (photogrammetry and LiDAR) and inspections missions.
The role primarily entails:
- Planning of drone missions and preparation pre-flight JSA’s for approval by the Chief Remote Pilot
- Preparing automated flight plans for drone LiDAR survey missions in complex and remote terrain, where 3D flight planning and visual line of site are critical considerations
- Execution of automated drone missions for the purposes of LiDAR surveys and photogrammetry surveys
- Execution of complex manually piloted drone missions for the purposes of high detail photogrammetry modelling and close visual inspection
