About the Role
CoAct is building a new service offering(s) with a goal to help Australian businesses improve their Diversity and Inclusion practices. As a crucial part of our three-year strategic plan, we have completed the first year of research and development, we are now moving to the next phase of piloting our concepts and are looking for an entrepreneurial DEI leader to help us test, build and deliver our services over the next year. Year three will see us start to commercialise and grow the business.
This role is a crucial role central to the success of the business, you will help shape and design the service, and your ideas and experience will directly help improve diversity practices in Australia.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead key strategic and operational diversity and inclusion initiatives with business pilot partners
Help devise solutions for pilot partners, through running workshops and discovery sessions.
Support the delivery of the project by working closely with partners to solve problems and capture learnings.
Write reports for pilot partners on key learnings and provide a roadmap on how they can further progress/scale their diversity initiatives.
Work closely with GM Customer and internal stakeholders to help design and shape our new service.

About you
You are an experienced Diversity & Inclusion Manager who wants to create impact. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are driven by innovation, creativity, and passion. You are happy to challenge the status quo and are driven to improve DEI practises in Australia.
Team culture and quality of life are important to you. Motivated by challenges and solving problems, you like a fast-paced environment where no day is the same. Strong project management and flexibility come easy.
Recognised as a contemporary leader who has outstanding people skills able to work with a wide range of people, solve problems and think strategically.
Have an innate curiosity and an innovative, intrapreneurial spirit with the ability to navigate ambiguity and a start-up environment.
Experienced in the design, build, implementation, and embedment of organisational development/people strategies that have driven transformational cultural change.
A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get operational work done as needed
Strong communication skills, the ability to write accurate reports, present and facilitate workshops.
Driven to achieve results and goals in a dynamic environment.
