- Based on Awabakal land in Newcastle, we currently have opportunities for you to join our team and provide support to our clients by creating opportunities for connection to community. This role will create meaningful client relationships, shaping not only the futures of others but also your own.
- These positions are part-time ongoing.

- You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:

- Specialist training opportunities
- Buddy shifts with CPA’s experienced Disability Support Workers
- Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability
- _ We invest $5,000 in training in your first year_
- Duties will include:

- Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handling
- Encouragement and facilitation of activities in the group home such as musical therapy, art and cooking
- Ensuring clients have access to information to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
- Transporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable
- Requirements
- A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
- Live locally to Awabakal land
- A talent pool may be created for future roles and is valid for a period of 12 months.
