About the Role

This Disability Support Practitioner role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

As a Disability Support Practitioner, you will be working in a group home setting, delivering personalised support to clients by assisting them with daily tasks such as mealtimes, personal care, and administering medication.

You will also be supporting clients to build skills and become more independent, as well as encouraging them to engage and participate in their community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality support to clients in a group home setting
  • Supporting clients to develop skills and become more independent
  • Encouraging clients to engage and participate in their community
  • Building positive relationships with clients
  • Transporting clients, if applicable

Requirements

  • Live locally to the locations mentioned
  • Prior experience in disability support will be highly regarded
  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum)

Training and Development

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, including buddy shifts with experienced Disability Support Workers and the opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or Certificate IV in Disability.

We invest $5,000 in training in your first year, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to succeed in this rewarding role.
