Owner’s Representative position available in Brisbane, to ensure the Burdekin Falls Dam Project is delivered in accordance with Sunwater’s project performance requirements.

**About you**:
The Owner’s Representative’s primary responsibility is to ensure the Burdekin Falls Dam Project is delivered in accordance with Sunwater’s project performance requirements. You will monitor and adhere to design, dam safety, construction, commissioning, handover and operational requirements during delivery and ensure the project complies with regulatory, governance and community requirements. You will also oversee the effective project close out and transition to Sunwater Operations team and build and manage key relationships with the alliance, business partners and internal stakeholders.

**You will bring**:
We are seeking an Owner’s Representative with well demonstrated management skills in the provision of project management services relevant to the planning, construction and delivery of bulk water, irrigation and pipeline infrastructure development projects. You will have sound leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, including in complex negotiations, stakeholder relationship management, capability uplift and risk management. Your highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively, with both internal and external stakeholders, will ensure your success in this role.

In addition you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management and/or Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the delivery of complex major civil infrastructure projects
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience leading a high performing team including planning, resource management, risk management and capability development
- Demonstrated management skills in the delivery of complex projects within time and budget (>$300m)
- Strong commercial management, including cost forecasting, reporting and contract administration
- An ability to think innovatively and adapt as necessary, to resolve issues and ensure the achievement of project objectives and management of risks and opportunities
