**ROLE PURPOSE**

This is an opportunity to join a thriving territory and drive revenue, profit and commercial growth of the brand across wholesale accounts within dedicated territory.

This will be achieved by owning the relationship with wholesale customers, and key accounts within nominated territory. This role commands a high level of sales management, proactive relationship management and the ability to drive sales revenue within the channel.

This role requires and in-depth knowledge of the optometry and independent retail channel and is responsible for protecting and growing existing business within the channel whilst also driving new business opportunities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Territory Sales Management
- Develop and implement the Territory sales plans and activities to achieve revenue, sales and profit targets.
- Gain trust with accounts by aligning solutions best suited for the partner. This will require thorough understanding of the partner’s business.
- Ability to remain flexible and agile to work with the partners resources structures
- Understanding revenue objectives, market segmentation and how channel works alongside business objectives
- Identify partners goals to align plans and develop initiatives to easy work with and to drive revenue effectively and efficiently
- Extensive use of analytical skills to continually and consistently monitor sales results, sales/growth potential and marketing potential

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIE**
- Pro-actively develop own product and eyewear knowledge, leadership, and business skills via various initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues from sales team and head office.
- Actively work with the National Field Sales Manager and National Sales Manager to provide constructive feedback and insights from the channel. Contribute to Meetings and relevant projects with sales expertise.
- Monitor developments in the industry, providing feedback and recommendations to National Sales Manager and National Field Manager in relation to industry intelligence (competitor launches etc.) growth opportunities.
- Utilise reporting systems and tools to analyse business performance and take prompt corrective action as appropriate.
- Take reasonable care of your own safety and the safety of others and participate in health and safety training.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required including covering for colleagues during absence.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years sales experience as an Account/ Territory Sales representative on the road call cycle planning
- Good understanding of B2B and B2C
- Excel experience for the management of sales data and reporting
- Experience in Territory Sales within Optometry, pharmacy Surf and/or Fashion channels or similar Sales focused Channels.
- Experience and skill around forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
- Experience around stock optimisation, payments, and territory management
- Computer literate, intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel.
- Strong sales, negotiation, influencing and merchant skills.
- High level of business acumen and experience around strategic planning
