**About The Role**

Join Anglicare and make a difference in the lives of seniors across greater Sydney. We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Head of HR for our Seniors Living business stream at Anglicare. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of provide expert leadership to Seniors Living leadership team with responsibility for leading HR business partnering advice and providing solutions that empowers managers and enables each person to do the best work of their lives.

You will also be the conduit for specialist input from our People & Culture centre of excellence teams through collaborating across the business to design and implement workforce planning and succession, talent management, learning and development, health safety and wellbeing and culture and engagement initiatives.

What's more, you'll be joining our team at a pivotal journey of growth and transformation. We're in the process of implementing new HRIS technology across our people and culture platforms, and you'll have the exciting opportunity to help shape our future.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and implement the HR strategy aligned to Seniors Living objectives and Anglicare’s HR strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Leaders on projects to aid continuous improvement and implement improvement programmes (e.g. changes to working practices, organisation changes and business “excellence” or lean programmes).
- Liaise with the Leaders to understand their HR requirements and ensure they are fully informed of Anglicare’s HR strategy.
- Forecast future needs within Seniors Living by analysing the current and future legal, environmental and political environment
- Offer recommendations to the SLT in line with legislative changes
- Timely delivery of transformational projects, using project management processes and understanding the operational benefits to be delivered.
- Support and coach the management team on all people leadership matters, including business change and transformation.

**About You**
- Action orientated strategic thinking and planning skills with demonstrated ability to adapt when needed.
- Strong customer focus, including an understanding of human centred operating model design focused on customer experience.
- Strong commercial acumen with a competitive nature
- Strong leadership, influencing, management, team building, communication, consulting, and negotiation skills with the ability to create a high performing culture within a human services team.
- Organisational and decision-making ability including effective Change Management expertise.
- Agility and responsiveness - comfortable adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal
- Experience of using HR Information Systems
- Problem solving skills
- Experience of designing and writing HR policies, procedures, offers and contracts of employment
- Knowledge of payroll

Education & Experience
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Human Resource senior management level role
- Degree qualified in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
- WHS and RTW experience
- Previous experience in working with Unions
- Experience negotiating Enterprise Agreements highly regarded
