WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND GROW
- This organisation is looking for an Account Manager for Qld, based in Brisbane, Southern area ideally, as this territory will build relationships and manage hospital customers based in Brisbane to South Brisbane and the Gold Coast (prefer this person to be Brisbane based). This territory will also cover Darling Downs, West Moreton in the Western portion of South East Qld.
- The role will manage customer relationships to achieve sales targets and provide technical consultation, training, and education to hospital customers.
- The person in this position will develop and implement a relationship management plan for strategic, complex potential accounts to build key relationships and will coordinate the engagement between the hospital and the company to ensure effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues.
- You will assess customer needs and present these to the customer with a clear rationale and at standard commercial terms, that gain the customer's agreement.
- You will develop a personal network within the sales territory, obtain market intelligence and represent products at trade displays and other events to identify sales opportunities, promote the organisation, and enhance its reputation.
- You will enter customer information that has been gathered through research and/or through direct customer contact into the CRM, to ensure that the organisation has quality data to enable effective customer retention & business development activities.
- You will sell medical technology equipment and services to customers in line with the overall strategic marketing plan and qualify opportunities, identifying competition, budget and timing.
- You will work without supervision and provide technical guidance when required to uncover customers’ explicit needs and/or unforeseen opportunities and challenges.
YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a demonstrated track record of selling within the medical devices/med tech industry, with excellent tenure.
- Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in a health related or business discipline, you will certainly need to demonstrate a strong technical & clinical aptitude and a bias towards understanding how medical technology works having sold WIFI enabled medical technology to hospital customers before in Queensland. In addition, previous experience coordinating the instillation of medical equipment into hospitals is highly desirable.
