Our SEQ Facilities Asset Acceptance team has a full-time permanent position for an Asset Acceptance Officer (Integration Information).

This role will be key to ensuring that Queensland Rail’s new facilities assets are correctly designed, constructed and commissioned in accordance to legislation and standards, so that at handover of the facilities the asset can be operated and maintained safely throughout the life of the asset.

**About you**:
The team are ideally looking for someone who has a building trade background with demonstrated building trade/construction experience and best practice industry knowledge.
- High level of skill in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings and scope documents and be able to compare drawings onsite.
- Ability to consult directly with Senior Managers and raise issues or risks with designs, as well as any issues or risks identified through various other stages of the project lifecycles.
- High level of interpersonal, consultation, communication and negotiation skills working with diverse business representatives both internal and external to our business.
- Skill in building and maintaining relationships with project teams, local managers and planners to respond quickly to changes in legislation or other requirements.
- Strong level of computer based skills and experience within systems specific to Asset Management as QR currently use SAP Plant Maintenance module for this role.
