Our client is a national telco provider currently seeking a Strategy and Sourcing Manager to support on going procurement activities.
Your new role will see you acting as a trusted advisor enabling the business to secure externally sourced goods or services that will provide sustainable value. You will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of category strategies, planning and conduction negotiations and managing sourcing transactions. Engaging with customers externally and across the business you will need to demonstrate a customer focused attitude and be confident presenting to both parties.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Demonstrated experience in a procurement management role
- Telecommunication/ IT industry experience preferred
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Prior experience managing medium to high level complexity negotiations
Our client is offering an initial 6 month contract with the view to extension. Offices are based in the Melbourne CBD with a hybrid work model in place.
