Now that school’s back, we’re looking for a Youth Engagement Officer who’s keen to hang with us at ‘The Base’. **What you’ll be doing**

Given your kind of new to youth services, you’re spend your first few days’ learning. Don’t stress, you’ll have a great mentor to work with while you spend quality time and connect with our young people at our drop-in centre. Once you’ve settled, you’ll assist Youth Workers facilitating social and recreation programs. At times you’ll assist with admin. You might complete shift or incident reports, help with data entry and program planning. At the end of shift, you’ll probably feel pretty chuffed. So, you should. You’ve just made another positive impact to our young people lives

**You’ll be great in this role if you**
- Have a Cert III (or greater) in Youth Work, Education, Community Work, Social Work or other relevant discipline and equivalent experience
- Current C class driver’s license.
- Able to obtain National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
- Able to obtain a HLTAID003 First Aid certificate
- Able to obtain a Food Handling/Safety Certificate (Desirable)
