**About the Role**
Grampians Area Mental Health Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Administration Services Officer (ASO) to join our service. As a leading healthcare provider in the region, Grampians Health is committed to providing the highest quality care and service to our patients and the community.
This position is responsible for providing front line customer service on the Mental Health reception desk, assisting the public with face-to-face and phone enquiries. Monday-Wednesday. 8.30am-5.00pm. This would suit a person with 3 -5 years administration experience coupled with; outstanding customer service skills; strong communication skills; attention to detail; whilst maintaining a positive attitude and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
You will have proven experience in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook. The role includes (but is not limited to) screening and attending to a broad range of internal and external confidential and sensitive enquiries; provide reception services; data entry; maintaining and updating office and information management systems and procedures; and typing of medical correspondence.
As an ASO you will need to be flexible in adapting to change as per service needs; comfortable learning new systems; well organised; and have the ability to determine competing priorities and timelines.
Experience working in a mental health or medical health setting and familiarity with medical software/ electronic medical records would be highly desirable.
