**About the role**
The Finance and Administration Officer provides management and leadership of a range of administration and finance services within the Grampians Rural Health Alliance (GHRA). The position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer and is a pivotal role to the operations and accountability of the Alliance to all members.
**Key Responsibilities**
The position provides higher level financial and administrative services and liaises with the Alliance Member agencies of Grampians Region in the following domains:
- Financial management, administration, and reporting
- Budget preparation and control (operational and capital)
- Purchasing of supplies, equipment and services including regional ICT procurement
- Accounts Payable and Receivable administration
- Executive and Governance support and reporting
**Skills and experience**
- Tertiary degree in, finance, administration and /or business discipline, or significant relevant industry experience.
- Proven track record in financial and / or account management, demonstrating significant experience in analysis, problem solving and solution recommendation
- Experience of working in an ICT Rural Health Alliance and / or complex healthcare environment would be highly desirable

- **Communication**:Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
- Uses data and information in a clear and rational thought process to assess and understand issues, evaluate options, form accurate conclusions, and make decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative support to management with ability to meet timelines and prioritise workloads
