**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Specific provision of services includes spares management, support for quotations, tracking of deep level maintenance repairs, calibration of Test Equipment and develop contracted reporting as required. You will also provide support to the Supply Support Capability Lead.
- Day to day tasks include the following:

- Manage the develop Maintenance and Supply Support documents and plans which meet Customer and/or business requirements, including ISO55001 Asset Management
- Coordination of LMA or Customer owned items using MEX or similar Inventory Management Systems
- Lead implementation effort for new systems as a result of 1LMx Digital Transformation and design and implementation of other software systems
- Ensure the upkeep of LMA Supply Support and Maintenance Support Policies and Procedures
- Oversee the continual analysis of the Part Repair Pipelines for all managed Repairable Items and break down spares consumables to ensure targets are met or exceeded
- Perform, Raise, Track and Report on the status of purchase requests for inventory required to support LMA maintenance and supply Support activities
- Identify opportunities for in-country repair and/or production capability for LMA products
- Provide assistance to Programs in Supply Support and Maintenance capability matters, such as packaging solutions and writing PHS&T plans, MEX Logistics and Maintenance User Training
- Provide support to the O&S Capability Leads for the delegation of lower priority tasks in order that these get completed
- Co-ordinate and undertake Asset and GFE audits
- Co-ordinate continuous improvement activities and closure of NC/s and other quality findings
- Co-ordinate Supply Support and Maintenance performance reporting

**About you**:

- Significant experience in Defence or similar logistics areas including Inventory Control, Asset Management, Supply Chain and Procurement experience
- Excellent experience with Logistics Supportability Analysis
- Ability to mentor and guide other members within a Maintenance or Supply Support Organisation
- Bids and Proposal experience including authoring of ASDEFCON documentation and the generation of estimates to support submissions

Along with the above any of the following would be highly desirable:

- Maintenance management experience in an air, simulator, naval or army environment
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings would be advantageous
- Familiar with Support System Constituent Capabilities and ASDEFCON
- Experience within the Defence or aviation logistics environment

**Special Requirements**:

- Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
