**About us**

As a consultant in Bastion, you are primarily employed to support client activities in either above or below the line scenarios. As a result, the type of work can sometimes be varied, so our people need to remain agile, adaptive and diverse in their approach to client requirements. You will be engaged in work initially specific to your core skill set, however at times you may be required to perform other tasks outside your primary function.

The work involves typical engineering responsibilities such as requirements analysis, verification and validation, project management and project liaison, client engagement.

We'd like to speak to professionals with one or more of the following attributes:

- Systems Engineering
- Safety Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Project Management
- Integrated Logistics

**About you**
- You'll need experience in a Defence project setting - preferably Maritime activities (if you don't have Maritime experience we would still be interested in speaking with you)
- An Australian Citizen with a current or recently inactive AGSVA clearance
- Self starter who takes the initiative
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work either individually or as part of a broader team

**Salary**: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
