**Your responsibilities will include**
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
- Investigate and respond in a timely manner to resolve issues and requests raised by clients' customers.
- Assist with enquiries relating to clients' customer's account activity.
- Troubleshooting operational and technical issues.
- Liaising with other departments and third parties to assist in resolving clients' customer's technical queries.
- Assist in defining and implementing operational support processes and procedures.
- Identifying gaps and improvements in current processes
- Creating and maintaining the existing manual on tasks performed in role.

**Financial and Analyst tasks**
- Assist in writing and creating SQL queries. (They will provide SQL training)
- Verifying invoice amount and count, using database queries
- Assist finance team with daily bank reconciliations, deposits, withdrawals, and report
discrepancies.
- Assisting in treasury function of client's business
- Assisting accounts payable functions
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports for the finance and accounting team.
- Provide support to the finance team and management as needed.
- Prepare reports on KPIs for management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of finance operations.

**All you have to have**:

- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in finance operations, accounting, or related field.
- Fluent in Japanese and English, verbal and written
- Proficiency in Excel such as VLOOKUP, formula is ideal
- Knowledge of finance and accounting
