The faculty has been delivery education to Defence forces for over fifty years, from 2020 the faculty has expanded on the defence relationship, driving growth, stimulate innovation and demonstrated enduring leadership is key research and education areas.

**Why Your Role Matters**:
The Faculty Chief of Staff for UNSW Canberra acts to provide expert advice to the Rector in relation to planning, decision-making, opportunity management and the execution of initiatives which impact UNSW Canberra and our strategic opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:
As the Faculty Chief of Staff you will:

- Provide advice and support to the Rector across their portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Rector/leadership team to oversee the delivery of strategy plans.
- Drive key initiatives on behalf of the Rector.

**Who You Are**:

- qualifications and extensive experience working effectively and with impact at a senior level in a range of complex environments.
- excellent written communication and relationship management skills.
- proven ability to deliver tangible results.
