Weel is an Australian-founded fintech company that provides software to help businesses streamline and control company-wide spending without holding their team back. Finance teams use Weel to instantly issue virtual corporate cards, proactively control spending and automate their expense reporting. We're Australia's leading spend management solution.
We love our face to face time and operate in a hybrid environment, with 3 days a week of working from the office (in a central Sydney CBD location).
**A day in the life of a Head of Marketing at Weel**
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary B2B Head of Marketing to drive growth and help scale. You are an accomplished marketing leader who will create and guide the strategic direction and operational execution in the APAC region.
This is a truly career defining opportunity which will allow you to drive major impact and solidify our position as the leading all-in-one expense management solution.
The position involves strategic leadership, team coaching, and hands-on execution. As part of the Senior Leadership Team you will closely collaborate with Sales, Product and Finance in aligning our marketing efforts with our company's strategic vision.
As a hands-on builder you are passionate about making an immediate impact especially in our lead generation efforts and the growth of our community. You will navigate unforeseen obstacles in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment while leading, guiding and empowering a team of passionate and talented marketers to achieve success whilst supporting their growth.
**A day in the life...**
**Demand Generation**: Lead the development and execution of customer-centric lead generation strategies, encompassing segmentation, multi-channel marketing, and targeted campaigns to drive pipeline growth, revenue, and customer loyalty
**Community**: Develop and execute community engagement strategies to build and nurture our vibrant online and offline CFO community and increase our already very strong word-of-mouth referrals
**Brand Development**:Drive Weel's brand and positioning through visionary data-driven strategies, ensuring consistent execution across all channels. Communicate our unique value proposition effectively to position Weel as the top choice for potential customers
**Partnerships & Sponsorships**:Build relationships and partner with key strategic industry players
**Marketing Analytics & Operations**: Track a set of key performance indicators and provide consistent reporting against the marketing team's objectives.
**Financial Accountability**:Manage the marketing and advertising budget maximising ROI
**Sales Enablement**:Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and ensure a seamless lead-to-customer journey
**Thought and Team Leadership**: Be an ambassador of Weel across media and channels through direct contribution to content creation and presentations. Attract, develop and retain strong talent. Instill best practices and continue to develop and structure a performance-based marketing team that efficiently executes on company goals
**Skills we'd love you to bring along**
3+ years of experience in marketing leadership, ideally within high-growth B2B SaaS company.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals.
Proven experience developing and implementing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and customer engagement.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and optimize marketing campaigns.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Entrepreneurial spirit/attitude, flexibility toward dynamic change.

A track record of success in series B or C and beyond SaaS startups
You are skilled at being able to build connections between overall business objectives and the day-to-day work items translating information into actions
