**What you’ll do
Reporting to the Regional Logistics Manager VIC/TAS, you will be part of our eComX Fleet Operations team and will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by managing and reviewing the operational compliance of transport providers according to their contracted KPIs.
The role of Network Logistics Manager entails the day-to-day management of Woolworths Online deliveries across the state and requires a logical thinker with a customer-first attitude.
This role will involve engagement with various internal stakeholders (such as store leadership, operational teams, IT, and logistics) and external stakeholders (including customers and 3PL carriers) to deliver exceptional customer experiences in the most effective and efficient manner.
A typical day would involve (but isn't limited to):
- KPI Excellence: Review and improve delivery KPI’s within your direct control and influence in conjunction with store and state operational teams
- Third Party Logistics: Manage and support third-party logistics carriers, ensuring strict contract compliance, adherence to Woolworths policies and procedures, and the delivery of an industry-leading customer experience.
- Fleet management and liaison with fleet leasing companies
- Customer Advocacy: Be the voice of the customer Analyse business operations to ensure our customers receive the best-in-class service.
- Safety: Ensure that 3PL carriers are operating in a safe manner and promote a safe work environment
- Network Optimisation: Reviewing window and geographic mapping profile for stores to address concerns with on time delivery, drop cost and capacity fluctuations.
- Seasonal/Promotional Events Planning Take the lead in supporting the planning and execution of seasonal and promotional events with our Third Party Logistics carriers. Travel for store visits and a constant presence in the field, providing actionable insights from the analysis of data, process improvement at store and driver level as well as communication with and management of 3rd Party Carriers

- Previous retail operational experience in FMCG, eCommerce, logistics or supply chain environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well with customers to meet or exceed their expectations
- Leadership & negotiation skills to manage external providers to deliver strong performance outcomes
- Experience working with and interpreting data to derive actionable insight
- Flexibility to work hours - including a weekend on call roster Ability to work in a highly dynamic and fast paced, complex environment
