Reporting to the Head of Employee Experience & Service Delivery, this highly impactful role will drive our commitment to creating an organization where our employees can truly thrive through health and wellbeing initiatives. You will drive significant improvements in health, safety, and our wellbeing performance. As the thought leader in this field, you will provide invaluable strategic advice to our people leaders and the wider People & Culture (P&C) team, aiding in informed operational decision-making. A key focus of this role will be promoting mental health, driving a clear and impactful wellbeing agenda to enhance the overall health of our employees, as well as ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation, including new psychosocial laws.

You will be part of our awesome People & Culture team where we support making Zurich a great place to be The P&C team has ~30 team members and comprise of BU HR, Performance & Reward, Health & Wellbeing, Payroll, Service/Operations, Talent & Diversity, and Talent Acquisition.

You have strong stakeholder management, influencing, change management, process improvement, and communication capabilities, that combine with your analytical skills and technical understanding of WorkCover, audits and risk assessments. You have experience in workers compensation as well as creating mental health and wellbeing strategies and implementing these to drive better outcomes for our people. Ideally, you will hold tertiary qualifications in WHS (or equivalent) and have relevant experience as a safety professional gained within a corporate environment and like to work in a transformational environment.
