icare have an excellent leadership opportunity in the Prevention team for an experienced L&D designer to lead the prevention educational strategy. Working across the private and public sectors, the Prevention team support a wide range of customers to understand and control workplace hazards to reduce harm and support thriving workers in NSW.

**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Training Manager - Safety and Risk you will:

- Provide expert advice in the design and delivery of adult educational and behavioural change programs
- Create and maintain the Prevention Education Curriculum comprising core learning solutions, emerging, trending, and bespoke learning solutions and excite & inspire
- Project manage the design and development of education solutions by external partners, managing the ongoing relationship and governance of program delivery (including face-to-face and digital programs)
- Keep pace with the identification of emerging customer needs, proactively identifying opportunities to provide support by collaborating with internal stakeholders and establishing external partnerships
- Facilitate or host, as appropriate, the delivery of education forums and programs.
- Establish and maintain systems of evaluation and benchmarking to ensure that education solutions meet customer needs and deliver on agreed KPIs.
- Manage the effective promotion and marketing of the education curriculum and prevention resources maximise customer awareness and utilisation

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary level qualifications in adult education (or a relevant discipline or Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment plus equivalent practical experience)
- Experience leading educational strategy including curriculum design and engagement
- Extensive experience in the design of adult learning and training programs
- Experience designing programs using human-centred design and behavioural change principles
- Extensive experience in multi-channel learning solution design and delivery
- Strong background in digital learning solutions
- Strong background in workplace safety and safety training
- Strong project management and people leadership skills
- Exceptional facilitation skills both face-to-face and in online environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management - internal and external
- A passion for people and building strong networks
