The Principal Project Officer is responsible for leading the planning and delivery of the mandatory training project and strategic initiatives aimed at improving workforce capabilities, skills and competencies. The role leads the review of current mandatory training requirements across the system, undertakes critical analysis, and establishes the basis behind each training requirement, including who is required to undertake the training and how frequently training needs to be undertaken.

The Principal Project Officer also leads the development and implementation of effective engagement and communication plans, liaises and works collaboratively with Local Health Networks, SA Health Service Units and stakeholders across various sectors, and provides expert advice to the Nursing Director, Health Education System Improvement in the development of the Joint Learning Management System (JLMS) project.

This position has a CATEGORY C (mínimal patient contact) Immunisation Requirement

COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in a SA Health/health care setting.
